how did it come to this?
of confused states and minds.
its official people. we have descended onto an era of confused times. we now live in a world where we dont know who we are and what we want. we chase after elusive dreans and go for things that break us. we think ourselves to be someone we're not. we sterotype. we discriminate. we dont know what's good for us and what's bad. we go for the bad and leave the good. what we have we cast aside and what we cant have we crave. we dont even know how we want to look like. all the cross-dressing and androgyny, the hype with drag, femme, gay, metro and whatnots. all this confusion with gender roles, social positions, racial issues.. we fight for things we arent even sure we believe in. we pledge for causes for all the wrong reasons. human rights, animal rights, minor rights, labor rights.. all more accurately known as synonyms for what perhaps shall be known as "my-own-bloody-feel-good right".
people just dont know what to be anymore. loathsone wife, selfish parent, filial daughter, happy rebel, popular geek. some just want it all. some cant. some will. some wish. mostly people wonder. all the wondering and thinking and people are still not enlightened. the world remains in its confused state. we think, but we falter. we falter, and we doubt. we doubt and be confused. therefore we stop to think. its a whole neverending vicious cycle that just goes and goes.
everyday a new gimmick, a new invention comes out. variety is the new catchphrase of the modern. we have choice. we are confused. this brand or that? this design or that? to buy or not to buy? to change, or to upgrade? its an endless permutation even the most genius mathematician cant work out
this is the new age people. confusion is the latest it. be equipped, not to fight against it, but to learn to grab hold of it. because when it all comes down, its all what we have.
